127 million tons of food are lost and wasted every year in Latin America and the Caribbean. 34% of total food produced for human consumption. This phenomenon takes place in a region where 42 million people suffer from hunger. #SinDesperdicio seeks to change this reality by working on four axes:
Apply technology to reduce food loss and waste throughout the supply chain. From production to consumption
Advance legislation and public policy to create an enabling environment that tackles food loss and waste
Develop studies and market analysis to measure and identify the causes behind food loss and waste
Promote responsible and sustainable behavior along the supply chain
